Darry, Soda pop, Pony-boy, Two-Bit,Dally, and one more.
I can't remember. I haven't read the book in 22 years.
Darry (Patrick Swayze), Soda Pop (Rob Lowe) Two-Bit (Emilio Estevez) Dally (Matt Dillon) and Ralph Macchio's character.
I read the book and watched the Movie and LOVED them both.
S.E. Hinton is my Favorite Author.
Try her other books also. The Rumble Fish & That Was Then This is Now.
I can't remember The Society (The Socis).

They're the people in the book the story revolves around. You didn't know what the word characters means??

Just read the book. It is a really good book and you won't be disappointed. When I read it in school there were kids who hated reading that actually read the whole book.
