When I first singned up a while ago I made a mistake of adding 1 wrong charecter to my email adress, now that I want to cancel I cannot because I have to respond to the email first. I have tried to chane the email adress but it said that I would also need to confirm from the old adress that does not exist! Yahoo will not let me take the adress that I gave to myspace by mistake. I think that the people that have come up with the security for myspace need to help the USA with preventing identity theft! What can I do

Well when you sign up for Myspace you have to confirm your E-mail address.
I'm not sure how you managed to type in a wrong E-mail address twice, unless you didn't know your own E-mail.
I would suggest calling Myspace or E-mailing them, they do have a contact feature.

just create a new myspace and donot touch that myspace account...
