If the reader intends to deliver gift personally then let me make two observations about the Canadian Duty Free
Threshold:
a) Canadian customs personnel are not presently armed
and are not scheduled to be so trained until following year.
b) North bound traffic all too frequently runs through customs
without halting as required by signage. Chase is rare.
