i think everyone looks at themselves to see if everything looks alright.
you might be feeling a little down at school because it's filled with different girls as opposed to when you're at home. there aren't like 100 girls surrounding you.

it's natural to feel this way, i used to do that too... it will pass.
once you learn to accept what you look like, you learn to love what you have!

all i can say is, all of those other girls that you are putting on a higher level than yourself, are probably doing the same with you!

Wow you sound exactly like me. I do that too. I think you just have to get into that vibe you have at home no matter where you go. See your relection, strike a pose, say "damn im cute" and go about your day not worrying about your looks as much. if you know in the back of your mind you look good, confidence comes a lot easier.

That is definitely insecurity, and you obviously only feel it around other kids. It is perfectly normal for middle and high school kids. Just make sure that you keep it in check. If you start to find yourself obsessing over whether or not you look okay, than you should probably either go to your school's guidance counselour, find a help line, or seek professional advice and assistance

Here's why: at home you're just seeing yourself and you think you look great. Then you go to school, compare yourself to others, and begin to feel worse about yourself. Don't compare yourself to anyone else. For every girl you think is really pretty there is another one that thinks otherwise. Others could be admiring you and you don't even know it! Just carry yourself with confidence and try not to worry about what others look like.
