Hi all,

I have to wear dress/leather shoe all the time. During other time, I wear sports shoe. I wear shoes with socks. With the temperature getting warmer, I can feel the moisture and foot odor inside my shoes and on my socks after a whole day's wearing. It's really embarrassing.

Does anybody have some experiences about how to solve this problem? I am looking for some effective products that can help. I am already wearing some socks from Walmart that claim to reduce moisture and foot odor. But it seems that they don't help much...

Any more thoughts? Thanks a lot!

Odor Eater inserts will help
Make sure shoes are loose enough.
Make sure there is no fungus infection, if there is, use Lamisil on it
Purchase foot deodorant spray Dr. Scholls has some products like this
Make sure to wash feet with antibacterial soap morning and night. Clean and dry thoroughly
Get as "breatheable" leather shoe as possible, never wear vinyl or plastic
The problem is wearing shoes too much. Try wearing Teva sandals or Birkenstocks when you aren't at work. Go barefoot in the house.

You should be able to find all of the foot products in the toiletry and pharmacy area at Walmart

Oh yes what a good question. Leather shoes are better for letting your feet breath. but the athletic shoes pose the problem. I always wash my feet with soapy water dry thoroughly before putting on socks then sprinkling some "Gold Bond" foot powder right in the White socks this really keeps your foot comfortable. Maybe drink more water too. There are also good foot creams my Dr Scholls too.

i dont wear sneakers, so i wear shoes and boots yearround and in the winter months i sometimes have the same problem. gold-bond medicated foot powder works, can be found at any drug store, also try dr.scholls products. the problem could be your shoes, a lot of shoes do not allow your feet to breathe, which is what causes the odor. if u notice that your feet smell after wearing a particular shoe, then its the shoes, then dont allow enough air in your shoe for your feet to breathe which causes sweat and moisture- thus odor! throw the shoes away and find quality shoes made of different materials

Be sure your feet are dry before wearing your socks.. and try using a cotton made socks, it absorbs moisture well thus preventing the bad odor. You could buy some foot powder in drug store. Wipe your feet dry and apply the foot powder before wearing your socks.

Never reuse socks... always wear a clean one everyday. Make sure your shoes are place in well ventilated areas after using them... these will dry up moisture inside your shoes.

Hello,
Please read the article A Stinky Feet Solution!
After many years of trying to cover up the odor of my stinky feet by purchasing new shoes and expensive cotton sox’s and not to mention soaking my feet over and over, I finally came to realize that the smell was caused by fungus and dead skin. It actually smelled like something dead. So I asked myself “How do I kill the fungus without causing more harm to my Stinky Feet?”
My grandmother once told me about using a natural ingredient that can be found in most kitchens to kill fungus. I reached for a spray bottle filling it with equal parts of plain white Vinegar and water. I first soaked my feet and then patted them dry with a clean towel and sprayed my feet with a mist of the vinegar solution & let my clean feet dry naturally. This smelled lightly of vinegar for about 15 minutes. For the next 5 days after I showered I sprayed my feet with a light mist of the stinky feet solution (vinegar and Water). The smell was totally gone. Vinegar might not be your favorite cologne however it evaporates in just a few short minutes & you no longer have stinky feet. It not only gets rid of the smell it actually heals the feet from fungus

Best Wishes,
Beckie

You can get oder inserts to put in your shoe or a spray to spray in your shoe. Try putting baby powder on your foot before you put your sock on.
Or maybe its time for a new pair of shoes??

hope this helps
