Well sometimes, me and my sister would have "dances" and we would turn on some music and start dancing like crazy to each other. Then my dad would come in, scream and yell us, and tell us to go to bed.

HOWEVER...we don't do that anymore because my sister has become boring and would rather go to sleep or stay up on the computer than dance with me. I guess we both finally grew up :-( :-( :-(

Yes, the unbelievers on that side who'll never cross the road to ever be with the true worshippers whom they hate so much they would rather see dead than alive. I don't know of any other. Sorry to have disappointed you but I can't lie about any other unusual tradition that isn't there...
It makes one understand the true meaning of Jesus' words when he said that he didn't come to bring peace but to separate mothers from daughters etc. For he who loves mother, father (or anyone!) more than they love him are not worthy of him... Remember???

We have what is called "The Alligator Dance", It's done to the song "Proud Mary", by Tina Turner, not that lame one by CCR (even though theirs was the original). Guys in a line on one side facing the girls on the other. Take your hands flat out in front of you, face down, and wave them slightly up and down while your bring them from left to right, lower and lower till you on your knees, then slap them on the ground still going from side to side. The lie flat on your stomach, keep slapping the floor. Then place your arms in the position of alligator jaws, opening and closing them like one. Roll to the right and lightly slap the back of the back of the person in front of you, roll to your back, slap upward into the air, roll to the left, lightly slapping that persons back. Turn back onto your stomach, do the alligator. Back to your knees, and up, the same way you came down. Once back up, everyone in the lines keeps their hands going in front of them as each boy/girl pairs off in a freestyle dance down the center of the lines. Once at the end, join back into your respective line. You usually never end up with the same partner down the center.

Top that! The Alligator Dance.
