Sanjaya is already famous and will sell more albums than anyone left..There are no good contenders this year anyway. the 2 good singers are too fat to be an idol and the other one is really weird looking. the guys forget it..hopeless! Ruben Studdard won season 2(?) and he was gigantic. Sure, he didn't become much of anything after the show, but the fact is he still won.
Sanjaya is a sad excuse for Michael Jackson. Listen to his voice, then listen to MJ's voice. Their one in the same. Did I mention Sanjaya actually sucks at singing as well? He is probably the worst singer the show has seen ever.
And what is your source that says Sanjaya is the most famous American Idol?

Here's my plan for Sanjaya's future:
-His first record sells about 488,397 (most of whom his family purchased)
-He gets and accepts a role for a stupid horror film, in which he portrays a gay character who dies after twenty three minutes into the movie, and is the first to die.
-A second album entitled "Song (and Hair!) Stylings of Sanjaya"
-Album only spits out a hefty half a million records.
-A year and a hlaf into the business, his fame dies down.
-Two months later, Sanjaya is seen smooching and cuddling with 'Amazaing Race' star Reichen Lehmkuhl,
-Fame boosts instantly as front cover of People magazine has picture of the pair kissing, and interviewing with Sanjaya denying any claims of gayness saying "Oh my gawd!! I fell on him okay???"
-A week after People magazine comes out, Sanjaya is seen in the arms of Mr.Cruise, barley clothed at a gay club
-"He forced me!" claims Sanjaya to Rolling Stones
-Eight months go by, and Sanjaya comes out of the closet.
-Lance Bass and Sanjaya tie the knot two years later.

the only i think sanjaya is still on there is simply for the laugh... everybody wants to see his next hair style and everything.. and he knows it that is why he changes so drastically each time.... i think he will be off b4 the end of the competition... he cant sing.... but ppl need to start voting on that.. it is a singing competion....
