Well I know about 6 Kaitlyns from grown up to babies so I'd say there is alot of people with that name but a common as it is I really like that name!

I don't think it is as common as it once was. It is a constant name, but i wouldn't consider it to be too popular at this point. I would say more then likely a child named Kaitlyn would be the only one in their class.

I live in Houston Tx. and my daughter is 13, she has 3 friends named Kaitlyn, and I have a friend with a daughter with that name as well.

Ridiculously common. If you're a mother in the mall and call out the name "Kaitlyn!" at least 8 girls are going to answer.

I live in the US, on the east coast, and it is pretty popular where I live.
I teach preschool and I don't have a Katelyn this year. I have a Katie though. Last year I had two.
I know about 10 Katelyn's, spelled different ways, and with different nicknames. Kaitlyn, Caitlyn, Katelyn, Katelynn...Kat, Kate, Katy...
