Don't use anything that has ammonia or alcohol in it. This may damage the film on the LCD screen. It's important to note that LCD screens are not class, so don't use glass cleaner on them.

Use a micro fiber cloth, not a paper towel.

I use the kit from http://www.pixelclean.com . It has everything that you need and it works very well.

I like the LCD cleaner kits available from most office supply stores like Staples ,etc.

I use a microfiber cloth on my LCD monitor. It seems to do a good job.
