Go to Format (on the top toolbar) then paragraph. Next choose line spacing, and set it for double.

If it is double spacing between lines, use the format button at the top of the page, click on paragraph, and the second tab has the spacing options, click on double and it will automatically put the extra space between lines.

If it is the double space after a period, you have to do that yourself

Right click at the top and it brings out a list of toolbars, make sure the toolbar [Formating] is open. Then look for a little button/picture of two arrows facing up and down horizontaly with lines on the right side. To double space press the little arrow next to it and press the '2'

Highlight the lines you want double spaced. Go to format on your toolbar. Go to paragraph and click on spacing. It will give you options in a drop down menu.

got to format, click paragraphs, then a box should pop up with alignment and spacing, under spacing it is the line spacing and that is where you would choose double space, if you have already written the document then it should be highlighted first....good luck!
