Snakes do not have hair. This is due to the fact that snakes are reptiles not mammals. Snakes however, do have scales.

No they don't, Matt. They are reptiles and have scales. Reptiles are any cold-blooded vertebrate of the class Reptilia, comprising the turtles, snakes, lizards, crocodilians, amphisbaenians, tuatara, and various extinct members including the dinosaurs.

no snakes do not have hair they have scales which help them to slither. if they did have hair...i dont think there would be any reason for it.

NO THEY DON;T BUT' THEIR SCALES ARE BETTER THAN HAIR.THEY CAN FEEL EVERY MOVEMENT AND CAN FEEL SOMEONE COMING A HALF A BLOCK AWAY;IF IT;S ON DIRT GROUND OR SAND,.,.,.
