I am having a problem signing on as administrator.. I basically forgot the name of the administrator.. what should I do? I don't have a CD or anything of the Windows. I can't install any programs without signing on as the administrator.

ok, im not 100% what ur asking but if the password if the problem then you can log in to a different account go to start, and run "cmd" . Once the black comand prompt window appears type "net user administrator *" it will then prompt you for a new password for the administrator and ask you to confirm it. I hope this helps somehow!

Windows disks do not ship with an administrator login/password. Someone has to create one. If you do not have rights to add/delete/modify programs or defaults then need to contact the "administrator" that restricted those rights.

Go into safe mode! Than you should be able to access everything!
