Is the President really as dumb as he sounds or is it unfair critisms to judge him in this manner...your opinion please.

I think he is the worst public speaking President in my lifetime. I think we have had others who were not good at speaking in public but I think Bush takes the case for the first one that sounds uneducated and down right stupid at times.
I think he may be of average intelligence and that English was not one of his strong suits in school although, from what I can tell of his academic record we would be hard pressed to find what his strong suit was.

could you quite have a president that mispronounces a be conscious, or a president that doesn't understand the meaning of the be conscious? could you quite have a President that mispronounces the call of a state, or a president that thinks there are 7 extra states? My answer to you, i could quite have a president with a humorousness and a Texas accessory, then a president that thinks he's the 2d coming and a communist accessory.

Just because Bush talks like 5th grader giving show in tell to his class doesn't mean he's dumb. He's just the worst Presidential public speaker in history and the most ignorant. He was a smart guy when he was running the Texas Rangers Baseball team. Which is where he should have stayed.

well, he may not be the most eloquent speaker weve ever had as president, but, and ill say this for all the bush haters in here, no one, and i mean not anyone, who is truly dumb, can EVER be elected president of this country. it simply isnt possible...and if bush is dumb, what does that say about the people hes been beating the stuffing out of for over six years now...think about it...

I don't want to say he's dumb. It's easy to say that but you have to wonder about the stress he's under. Could you remember your lines if you had his job? When the smoke was still raising from what was once the World Trade Center, he was pretty popular. Have you all forgotten that? I remember him standing on a pile of rubble with his megaphone promising justice and everyone chanting "USA...USA" I'm not one to defend him but I don't like calling someone dumb.
Besides, who voted him into office twice? Now who's dumb?

Mr Bush ius a very smart man. However he does seem to have a problem with public speaking. He made much better grades in college than Kerry did.

I've worked for many fine CEO's and if you judge speaking ability as the mark of a good boss, you are in for a big surprise in life. I've found their actions and results to be what speaks loudest to me.

Graduated the first time with a 3.35 GPA.
Al Goreon, failed out of 2 schools in a row and passed with a 2.75 at Harvard with his dads best friend for a dean.And 2 extra years.
That's the convenient truth.
Worse speaker was MENSA member Gerald Ford.
If you can't win argument assault their short comings.

his daddy got him out of serving his military duty.
his daddy got him into an ivy league college
his daddy bought he and his similarly mediocre brother important governorships.
his daddy was once head of the CIA and v.p. to a nasty pig like reagan that should have been indicted / impeached for breaking several laws like iran / contra.
does that surprise you ?
did it surprise you that his brother determined which votes were to be counted in florida for the last election ?
