Hi Pondy, I know you're hurt and find Yahoo! depressing, but it isn't real you know, we all have violations for no apparent reason, but computers don't actually have the ability to pick on an individual, so it's not just you, take this advice, I'm giving it to you as a buddy, forget it, move on, or if you wish leave answers altogether, but this constant winging does no one any good, far less you, so cheer up mate! the sun is shining, and summer is on it's way, life is good! lets have some FUN questions from you as before, come on where is the Pondy of old? Cheer up old Pal!

Don't feel bad . I'm back under a new user name because Y! Answers suspended my account of 24,000 + points for absolutely no reason. The also did not reply to my email requesting why in the world they suspended my account. I've only courteously answered questions and voted for best answers. Now no email, no 360 page nothin' !
For you I would say Violation of Community Guidelines.
Engage in chatting or personal correspondence. Some examples are:
How are you?
What's your name?
How old are you?
What time is it?
I'm going back to Yahoo Chat where it's NOT against the rules to actually talk to people!

Not sure - but if someone reports you - I am guessing they take action without checking on the content of the original post. It's a flawed system.
I got three in one day - i thought THAT was a lot!
But my answers were actually snotty - so I guess I deserved the violations!

I feel your pain.
You are being targeted by Trolls, Haters, and Evil-Doers. I am sure that the Yahoo!Answers Team is working the issue, as well as Customer Care. They just are not "fast" at taking the appropriate actions against these undesirable Yahoo! users.
I have posted supporting comments on most of the entries in the Yahoo!Answers Suggestion Board. Now we need to let them work the issue.

my answer is this:
First off I see a maybe violation already according to rule one under dont's in this question.
Second, you should know by now how to appeal a violation.
Third, there is a Toll Free number right into Customer Care if you like to wait and listen to Yahoo promos.
and last but not least... it wasn't me.

I'd answer but there is a snow drift on my screen! That's a joke...I take it you don't know the user that reported you?

Sadly, this is nothing new, just more of the same, perhaps worse....
As for the "record", I think you may have it, froggy.
If you don't, you will soon enough.
We all know you're not about to let this matter drop.
Cheers

Technically, it is chatting (have you ever read the guidelines? Most of what we do could be construed as chatting)
