I feel like I have to go to the bathroom, #2. I have had diahrea so it's not like I have to go. I feel pressure on my back and in my groin area. I am very tired and have a headache. My lower stomach is achy. I am 36 weeks... does this mean I will have her early? Anyone else have this for a long time or did they have the baby right away?

This could just be the pressure of the baby moving into the birthing position. It could still be another 4 weeks until you have the baby.

What your describing sounds similar to the pressure you would feel right before you would start pushing, but you would be feeling more then an ache in your lower stomach. It was be intense pressure and you would not feel as if you could relax and anxious.

Personally, I kept running to the bathroom in the birthing ward only to be finally told it was the feeling to push. Like you, I felt as if it was dihhrea and assumed it was a stomach issue.

Unless you feel contractions and are having intense pressure in your abdomen, it is probably just the baby moving into place and putting pressure on your bowels.

Hi. The SAME thing happened to me..I went to the ER on the 21st with the same exact symptoms. They hooked me up to a machine to tell if I was having contractions and if so how bad they were. Well after 2 hours of being on the machine they said I was having contractions but they wernt really bad yet so they did an exam and said I wasnt dialiating and sent me home. But now the pain has been the same since that day and I go to the Dr. tomorrow. So honestly what you need to do is go to the ER and get put on the machine. This will let you know where you stand and if theres anything you can do about the pain. If you find something that works let me know. Im now 36 weeks and my baby has dropped alot in the past 2-3 days. Good Luck! Hope it all works out for you!!

I had this exact problem for 5 weeks before my son was born, and the dr said he'll be here soon every week! I too thought he was going to come early, it's frustrating. He was my 4th baby I didn't have this with any of the others, but he was also 9.1pounds, the other 3 were all 7pounders. Theres not much you can do just take it easy and try to enjoy your last few weeks of pregnancy.

I experienced very similar symptoms the night before I went in to be induced, particularly the diarrhea and pressure. By the time I was checked into the hospital I was already 5 cm dilated. You'll want to call your doctor about this one, but to me it sounds like labor coming on. Good luck and congrats!

First Congrats! The pressure you feel could just be the baby moving into place for delivery.... this could mean it will be early, but it doesn't mean it will for sure. My daughter dropped down low, head in place, and then just STAYED there!!!!!!!!!!! I had to be enduced! The one certain thing about child birth is that there are no certainties!!!!! I will say that the diarrhea IS a sign that your body is getting ready! The thing is...allllll of the signs that you are having are signs... but they could start, and then stop, and then start again.

Call your doctor if you feel nevouse or have any consernces. This is what the doctors are for. Also i think it might just be moring sickness but it better safe then sorry. If you are nervous or think that there is something abnormal going on just call your doctor and im sure that they can help. Good Luck!
