Not Normal but well for me I am stuck in that type of marriage

I read somewhere that each couple is different. Some are happy having sex once a week, some have to have it every day. However, once every 8 months does seem a little extreme. How long have you been married? Does your partner know? It seems you're not happy with that, but if both of you are happy with the arrangement, then let it be! If not, I suggest you talk to him about it, and maybe suggest counseling.

I'm not married yet but I don't think that would be a healthy relationship if you ask me. Not to say that you have to have sex like rabbits but once every 8 months is a bit extreme to me. Think about it this way it's only once a year like 10 time total in a ten year marriage. Good luck with that.

Only if you are over 80! No, not normal for a healthy relationship. Some do it every day, most once or twice a week, some once a month. If you are both happy with your frequency, then the heck with normal.

If its OK for the both of you, then its normal. But the fact that you are writing this question is a clear indication that you don't think it is normal.
Most married couples have sex more regularly than once or twice a year. So you should either talk about it with your spouse, seek some help, or end it.

Who's to say what is normal these days??! It depends on the couple. If you are both happy going without for that long then its ok. If there is a medical problem then its understandable.
However, my hubby would think I was cheating on him. Could that be an explanation?

hell no that aint normal .. may be u should read on how to put the r into romance again in ur marriage .. try it it might work .. and i thought only getting it 2 times a week was weird sorry but ur situation takes the cake

On the surface, no thats not normal. Then again I would think there has to be some reason for that. One partner works out of state? Military? Recent medical proceudure? something.

of course that's not normal i understand that after a few years u are not having it once a day or even twice a day like at that beginning but atleast u have to make love once or twice a week.

I don't think that is normal. I can't go a week without trying to put the moves on my wife. I would perfer 2-3 times a week but sometimes it's less. :(
