Frequently when I close my eyes I see a single eye looking at me. No face, just an eye. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

That's funny...I have the eye of horus tattooed on the back of my neck.

Yes it happens to me quite frequently. I have "natural" markings---not tattooed or self inflicted---of "The Eye of Horus" on the inside of both ankles. It is considered to be Divine. Roll with it honey. Please contact me if you like to discuss further. The Devil.

Remembering that the eye of horus is an ancient symbol of protection and power, I'd say it's likely the eye is something (most likely connected to your higher-self) keeping watch over you. Unless you feel any malice from it I'd not worry.

we all have a third eye.the psychic eye, the place where all spiritual and psychic powers arise and work thru., its a very small actual organ between the eyes,you have recognized this fact subconsciously and have had a tattoo placed on you and you see the eye . because ITS THERE waiting for you to use it properly,SO.concentrate your attention on it while your eyes are closed, chant something, i chant the word HU HUUUUUUUUUUU.have no thoughts to cloud your mind and third eye, and you will see thru IT,what you need to see, it is waiting, your future is there,also your past.go ahead ,see what you should see

That single eye is your Third eye
Meaning your third eye is open
Do you meditate ?
If you don't try it you will be amazed

it happens to me almost everyday. and i don agree to lilly, it's not a illumination nor a rubbish. it's real. it's call the third eye. only afew people get to see it. i hope this helps you

I cannot believe some of the stupid answers on here! This is an optical illusion. It's the same thing as closing your eyes and seeing flashing lights.
No one is watching you.
