I am traveling around TX and I want to make just 2 stops for shopping, one for outlet and one for regular price shopping which are the best places to stop? Thanks!

San Marcos has the best outlets. They just opened a bunch of new stores on the north side of the Mall. Also, in San Antonio there is North Star Mall. It has been around for a long time. Or, there is a new shopping center called La Canterra just off of 1604 in San Antonio. Shopping is cheaper in south Texas than in Dallas. I know because I have lived in both places. Enjoy your trip to Texas..... :)

There are 3 outlet malls that i know of along I35. One is in San Marcos, another in Round Rock and the other is outside of Waco/Hillsboro area. The ones in Round Rock aren't that great but there is alot of other shopping nearby and an Ikea.
The ones in San Marcos have two outlet malls right across from eachother. Never been to the ones outside Waco.
