I am considering working in the cell phone industry. I have been told that cell Co's. have implemented a thing called charge-backs to the rep that sells the service to the customer if they don't keep the plan for a certain amount of time. With the technology in the new phones today, it seems like it would be pretty hot. Tell me,can a person make great money in this industry?

you either make big money or a little it all depends on your networking and sales skills and charghebacks are nothing new i have worked in the cell industry for 6 years as sales rep manager and tech the industry has become pretty saturated where almost everyone has a cell phone the only new lines pretty much are ports from other companies the $$$ has gone down where as the major providers want their top reps to only make about $50kbut a very select few still make a good amount over that but id say the average that is if your in a good location upscale customers the average is $32k base plus commission. hope that helps chose the company wisely if you apply

about ten years ago, it was a major money maker. If you're a good sales rep, you can make a decent living. overall, it's about the same as working for any other sales industry
