I am considering working in the cell phone industry. I have been told that cell Co's. have implemented a thing called charge-backs to the rep that sells the service to the customer if they don't keep the plan for a certain amount of time. With the technology in the new phones today, it seems like it would be pretty hot. Tell me,can a person make great money in this industry?

First things first. Do you believe in the product you'd be selling? If not then there's no point in trying because if YOU don't believe in it, there is no possible way you can convince others on its value. That said, its a GREAT business to be in if you're a people person and you, while not being annoying, are able to positively influence others. Is this a storefront, internet based or mall outlook setup?

I am confused. When I worked in sales, if we received a charge-back -- they were taking money from us because either I client cancelled or did not pay the bill.

So, if they are doing charge-back the way I understand it, that is not a 'job selling point'.
