People who ask "Can I ask you a question?".... Didn't really give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?

When someone says, "can I ask you a question?" I usually jokingly say: "you just did"!! ;o)

If it is someone who is actually speaking to you and says that you have every right to say "No, I don't feel like answering anything right now."
If it is on Y!A then well you do have the choice whether or not you open up the question and read on. So in reality if you open the question you are giving them permission to ask you a question.

That is usually a lead in for a personal question.
