Confidence is when you believe in yourself and your abilities, and not much concerned about others because you know where you stand.
Ego is about rating yourself highly to a point where you think you have qualities only you think you deserve to have and no one else.
Arrogance is someone who potrays confidence and pride, feels others are socially inadequate compared to him/her and feels other peoples opinions carries little weight.
But the sad and simple truth is, if you carry all three combined, you will go far in life, you will get the jobs, the social life and partners, whether you deserve them or not is different.

Confidence - belief in your abilities. Ex: You think that you can get an A on your math test.
Ego - belief in your superiority to others. Ex: You have no doubt that you will score the highest grade in the class on your math test.
Arrogance - overbearing pride evidenced by a superior manner toward inferiors. Ex: A classmate says they're worried about their grade on the math test and you reply "it was easy, you'd have to be stupid to not get an A."

delight makes in simple terms a splash experience, the place as ego would not. whilst i think happy with somebody else that's stable, and if I gain this approximately myself it turns into an Ego. that's foolhardy and downright incorrect.

Some years back, as a rookie cop I was told, "Don't let your mouth overload your butt." I'll use that phrase to answer your question because I can't think of a more sensible (or polite) way to say it clearly:
Confidence is HAVING the butt to back up your mouth and knowing it.
Ego is HOPING you have the butt to back up your mouth and faking it.
Arrogance is THINKING you have the butt to back up your mouth with no evidence to support your thinking.
I hope that makes sense to you because the obvious crude word for "butt" could not be used.
Best wishes,
Linda

confidence is knowing you are able to do something and do it right. and not be afraid to let someone know you can do it.
ego is thinking you can do something even if you can or can't and bragging to everyone you can.
arrogance is being up in everyone's face about what you can do.
