I may guess Yahoo sets rules considering the number of active subscribers, number of answers, size of answers, etc.
Fewer answers would make the questions overcrowded, as there is many of us willing to help. More answers would yield unanswered questions or under answered.

But when everyone tries to answer it at the same time, my computer winks out from the overload.
