I lived in group homes for about 3 years of my childhood. I would be moved from place to place, without any say in the matter. I'd go AWOL all the time, just trying to get away from the chaos. It was horrible, and I wouldn't wish that kind of life upon anyone.

I have been AWOL from my marriage for 18months now, sad thing is, he hasn't noticed. Sad but true.
