In in Nursing school and the majority of class is from one african contry or another. The two people who sit next to me have really bad BO and it really offends my nose and is distracting to me when im trying to do my work. Not to mention its is hot as hell in class and the air doesn't come on untill, april 15. My mom was telling me africans don't wear deoderant. She said i should say something to the teacher about it and just ask her to make an anouncement to the whole class about. Because on the first day of class she said if you dont wear deodorant today is the day to start. so i don't know what to do. I dont want to offend anyone if it is like a religous thing or something, i dont know someone help me

Yes im black obviously..... but im african american born and raised her so i was raised to wear deoderant. My mom said a lot of europeans dont wear deoderant either, like jenny jones.. I didn't notice this questions was under gay and lesbian and if i offended you sorry but no has asweresd my damnnn question yet

Anyway, some people from other countries go all natural and don't wear deodorant. I think you should ask your professor to tell the class to mind their hygiene. I have met people from all different countries including Europe that didn't use deodorant. When I was in grade school a lifetime ago, my teacher basically said, "If you can smell yourself others can too."

If indeed it's as bad as you say!!!Then make a nose gay, this is a little bit of perfume, oil,or herbs in a pouch or on a cloth of some kind. When ya get a whiff of a offensive odor put your nose discreetly in your little nose gay.

You are so dumb. Putting down your own people. Some White people, African Americans, Asian, Spanish people stink too. It's a matter of who wash their a.s.s. and who don't. Not the color of their skin or background. You really should take that down because it makes you look so stupid. Instead of asking on yahoo. Go up to an African and ask them to their face.

Man, I have played soccer with some Africans, they are horrible sometimes. It is against their culture I think for them to wear perfumes... some seem to take that as no deoderant.
