clothing catalogs re-name ordinary colors another name just to make it sound sensational?

For example -- what color is "patina" supposed to be even close to???

you're right, they try to dress up colors like green and blue, to make it I guess more 'sophisticated'

LOL yeah I've noticed that. They want their clothes to seem luxurious yet also affordable.
