You're asking a question on a no brainer. You are sweet. Don't co-sign, and stop feeling bad.

You don't owe her such consideration; and then, she doesn't have a job at that! You should not feel bad, and I wouldn't criticize you if you felt insulted by such nerve!

Definately not. You really don't know her all that well. If she doesn't have a job, how will she make the payments???

Honest people don't generally ask people they hardly know to do something like co-sign for a car etc. Dishonest people, will. Just the fact that you said you'd feel bad if you didn't makes me think this girl is taking advantage of your good nature.

Just to make things clear....if you cosign on that vehicle YOU are responsible for the payments if she does not make them, not one or two payments - if they can't find her you'll be stuck with ALL the payments until the vehicle is paid for...

Then of course your credit rating could suffer. Maybe in a few years you want to buy a vehicle or a house, you don't want this to stop you from doing those things.

Just politely tell her as much as you would like to help her it just isn't possible. If she asks for a reason, just tell her that you are thinking about buying a vehicle next year and there is no way you could get financing on a second vehicle.

DEFINATELY NOT!

politely explain to her that, though you respect and value her friendship, you don't feel comfortable cosigning for a car with her, simply because you haven't known her for very long. Just leave it at that.

PLUS, she doesn't have a job! Where do you think she's going to get the money to pay for this car? Sounds like she's trying to scam you into paying for the car...

NO!!!!!!!!!! Do not do sign for her! You've known her for a month, which is nothing. Your credit will be destroyed! Plus, your pay will get docked at some point if you don't pay it on your own. She has a lot of nerve asking someone so new to do something big as be a co-signor. There are a lot of red flags here. I would run like the wind from this girl, because the things she'll ask of you will only get worse. Do not feel bad, she should be ashamed of herself.

If you have so much, much money to pay it in case your friend failed to do so, you can go ahead or even if not having so much, but u r willing to give the amount without repenting later, good. But if you have second thought, don't mind what he will feel if you don't agree to be a cosign. It is obviously asking you indirectly. :)

No, don't cosign unless you can afford to pay the loan. If she doesn't pay, you will have to.
