Yes, Prague is very cheap. I went last year and at the time it was 10 CZK per 1 US dollar, an ATM fee was 0.10!!! I would recommend staying more than one night. I spent only one and wish I would have stayed longer!

Prague is among the cities worth-visit and to do that you can begin planning your vacation with hotelbye . Starting with the wonderful place across the Prague Castle or the Strahov monastery with its remarkable selection and end with …the entire splendid town, Prague is merely incredible. In Prague you can even visit the little home where Franz Kafka worked or the wonderful Prague Castle gardens from where you can enjoy a special see of the town with its picturesque red roofs. In that city you'll never get bored. If you will go through the spring you will find the spring trees in flower; in the summertime you might find long dusks; autumn will provide you with vibrant leaves and specific mild and in the wintertime you will love the entire town protected with simple bright snow.

I used to live in Germany and I've been all over Europe, and if you want to save money then go to Prague it's much cheaper then Munich and it is a very nice place to visit. Munich is good for Oktoberfest, which you won't get to see if you are going in the summer. On the other hand, if you go to both you can experience two different countries so it's really your preference.

I have not been to munich myself, but I have to prague. What I have heard about munich is that its ok...but prague is always "lovely" great" etc and is one city i would really love to go back to....the buildings are fantastic!!! I spent 5 days there (with 2 day trips to other parts of czech republic) and felt i did it justice. Its cheap (compared to other places) and you can easily get around on foot. ENJOY!!!
