If you think that we are not at war with Iran right now, you are naively mistaken.

I am sitting in the Iraqi desert right now. The IED's, EFP's and roadside bombs that you read about on a daily basis that kill our soldiers are using Iranian technology and Iranian materials provided by the Iranian government. Iran gives sanctuary to those who raise large militias that fight and kill Americans - like Muqtada al Sadr. Iran lets terrorists from around the world move freely into and out of Iraq over its borders.

And maybe - just maybe - no news agency is covering this because every news agency in the world knows the US has contingency plans for going to war with every nation on the face of the earth. Maybe - just maybe - the news agencies understand that Iran and the US are enemies and that war is a real possibility. Maybe - just maybe - you should get some real facts first.

You "reported", I have definitely decided.

EDIT: By the way - last time I heard, you need a massive buildup of troops and materiel to go to war with a country. A buildup of neither troops nor war materiel necessary has occurred in either Iraq or Afghanistan. And before you start talking about the 5 new brigades in Iraq, let me tell you 5 brigades is nothing. Barely enough to bring a relative control to Baghdad.

Show me some EVIDENCE.

If you think clearly, you will understand that the details of a military strike are kept secret. The reason that there is no news network covering this is because it is speculative. If, and when, it becomes a FACT, then there will be news coverage.

This is the OFFICIAL FACTUAL available information from NEWS AGENCIES and not gossip from "pen pals".

There is SPECULATION of a military strike against Iran because of Iran's capture of British sailors and Iran's refusal to comply with the UN.

In addition to the British frigate HMS Cornwall, there is a multi-national strike force in the Persian Gulf. Furthermore, there are British naval vessels stationed at the Diego Garcia atoll in the Indian ocean. The British Royal Navy may take action with its Special Boat Service (SBS) , the British Royal Navy's special forces unit. The service's motto is "By Strength and Guile". It forms part of the United Kingdom Special Forces, alongside the Special Air Service (SAS), Special Reconnaissance Regiment (SRR), and Special Forces Support Group (SFSG).

Ready to assist are the American aircraft carrier strike group Bremerton-based aircraft carrier CVN-73 USS John C. Stennis, the American aircraft carrier strike group CVN-69 USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and the French nuclear carrier Charles de Gaulle and its task force are all in close appoximation in the Persian Gulf. A 3rd carrier group, the CVN-68 USS Nimitz, may also be in the Persian Gulf soon as it was scheduled for its WESTPAC07 deployment to replace the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower which was deployed December 2006.

We've had a plan on the shelf for Iran for probably half of a decade.....but we would never undertake airstrikes so close to a full moon.

And "secret" attacks aren't published globally on conspiracy nutjob blogs.
