Numerous people here need to take an economics class. Tax cuts are good for the economy. Your information is wrong too. The richest people pay more of a percentage than the lower wage earners. The tax cuts were designed to help the middle class.

Damn some people in this world are ignorant. Get your facts straight before whining about the Rich and the tax cuts.
FACT: If you divide the wage earners into 5 groups high to low. The highest wage earners receive 41 cents of benefit for every 1 dollar they pay in taxes. The lowest wage earners receive $8.41 of benefits for every $1 they pay into the system. The bottom two groups are already receiving massive tax breaks. You can't get a "refund" of taxes that you haven't even paid.
FACT: Those people making more than $40,000 annually pay 97% of all taxes collected ... with the richest 2 % of people ... those making more than $300,000 a year paying a staggering 45% of all taxes collected. The lower income brackets are paying virtually nothing to support the country.
FACT: Tax cuts are good for economic growth. The stock market is at record highs ... and when the more wealthy make money ... they reinvest it in businesses and hiring more people ... everyone wins by reducing the tax burden the the upper middle class and upper class.
FACT: The Rich get richer because they keep doing the things that made them rich. While the poor get poorer because they keep on doing the things that make people poor. Blowing your money on lottery tickets and cell phones and clothes and cars and big screen TVs rather than paying off your debt and investing.
I could go on and on ... but I grow weary of trying to educate the unteachable. And just for the record I'm no where near "rich or upper middle class". I'm just a working stiff that is intelligent enough to be able to separate reality from a socialist fantasy.

The extra $500 dollars per child was a big help to me. Please send me yours if you do not need it. The tax break that I am getting due to Bush getting rid of the marriage penalty has certainly helped my family. Liberals all have the same thing in mind, tax the rich until there are no more, except for them. It was the Democrats who taxed our social security with Al Gore casting the tie breaking vote. The low interest rates have enablede more Americans than ever to buy homes. The stock market is at an all time high. Employment is higher overall than the Clinton years. And finally yes, we have a leader who is taking the fight to the terrorists who have been killing Americans for many years, remember the USS Cole ? How about hte WTC truck bombing when Clinton did nothing. George Bush is not perfect, but overall history will show he did a damn good job, and history will remeber Bill Clinton running around the Oval Office with his pants down.

You cite all these issues:
Average Income
Health Care Costs
Energy Costs
College Tuitions
National Debt
WHAT ABOUT:
Tax Cuts as Business Incentives?
The UNEMPLOYMENT NUMBERS?
The GDP?
TOTAL Tax Revenues?
THESE more directly relate to the TAX CUTS!
WHO do you WANT in office? Some socialist like Clinton?
It ain't all gonna be perfect and rosy,..
Same ol' tired story with no offerings of solution,.. get a grip!

The tax cuts are said to be responsible for the good points in our economy. I disagree. Right now we have a war time economy. The government has created a few million war time jobs, and it has lowered unemployment.
I think the reason republicans don't want the war to stop is because the war is the only thing stopping a recession. We Americans don't have enough faith in our economy for anything else.

Tax Cuts only Helps the Rich,
“Not”
The Middle Class or the Poor.
Who benefits from the Stock Market? The Rich - People who have money.
So when the people say that the stock market is good, so why am I still struggling to support my family.
It’s the Middle Class and the Poor that suffers from Tax Cuts because when they give Tax Cuts they have to find ways to raise taxes from the Middle Class and the Poor to pay for these cuts they gave to the Rich.
The Rich Gets Richer
And
The Poor Gets Poorer or Poverty/Homeless
And expects it’s citizens to donate to help the Poor, Poverty and Homeless.

what? he's been for the people all the time. higher gas prices, higher expenses, less money to earn so worrying about it goes down, higher costs for healthcare, insurance, clothes, debt, and lets not forget having the really rich have to pay lower taxes so they don't have to cheat as much, and just to be sure, more dead in iraq and afghanistan so there's fewer soldiers to feed and pay high wages. why, if he hadn't been elected by the supreme court, where would we be? gas would be cheaper, cars would use more and be selling better, food would not cost as much so more peopole could eat something besides dirt, healthcare would be cheaper and insurers wouldn't be getting richer like the oil companies are (profits are up 300%) since bush came in.
that would really hurt the economy since everyone knows if the wealthy don't pay taxes they'll invest it in really high paying investment portfolios while all american jobs head for china and mexico and we get lower wages to boot.
bush has really been good for this country. i just wish he'd take his goodness to africa. they need his kind of goodness like we need him.
a hole in the head would be just fine with me, cuz my pockets are already holy and quite empty. not even a dust ball in them.

The people who support Bush's tax cuts either make 200,000 a year, or they don't work. Every working person I know, (mostly in the 20-60,000 bracket) has been paying more and more every year this moron's been in office.
Oh, and bigsey, the stock market reached an all time high in 1929, too. Know what happemed next?

And the top 1% has used their tax cut to dismantle this country and ship our industry overseas. Hell some of them have already moved plants from Mexico to China to Malaysia to Vietnam. Wherever the labor is cheapest.
