well its really up to your gaming preferences and money in your wallet. The PS3 right now doesn't very many games but you know in the mere future it will offer the good games like Metal gear solid 4. Also it has better performance than the 360 and its online gaming is free. But however the 360 is cheper in price and already has "some" good games and a internet system that is cool if you can afford all the points.

360,it has much better games then a ps3 also the graphics are the same cause all sony does is put up pictures for mviedeos they also took a pic of off pgr3 and put it on the cover of grand turismo.
just make sure you have a hd tv also i think sony is ripping ppl off because y does a blue ray player cost 1000 dollars but a ps3 only 600 they both have blueray so i think sonys not tellng us everything
also make sure you get a warranty because most xbox 360s have hardware failure but you shouldnt have a problem cause the only ones who had it were laiunch date but give your 360 air because if it ovewrheats youre screwed and microsoft charges 140 dollars after the warranty runs out

Xbox 360 is way better.
PS3 sucks, dont get it. It only has about 3 good games and the Xbox 360 has a lot more good games.

Xbox 360 because it has more games u can play and cost less, and u can do more things on it

i say 360 because of Halo 3.... But then again i am a HUGE halo fan. but its really up to what gaming preferences you have.
