Snoop is powerful Nabakov became the final to attain a purpose on March 10, 2002 against Vancouver Chris Mason of Nashville became the final goalie ( i think of) credited with a purpose on April 15, 2006 while Geoff Sanderson, then of the coyotes placed it in his own internet on a in the back of schedule penalty.

remember Chilavert scoring a goal for paraguay from behind the half way line, was an amazing strike was in 96 or 97, and he has scored many free kicks and penalties too.
but the last goalie to score that i can remember was toldo for Inter, scored a header to equalise from a corner in the last minute of the game. thats all I can remember.

The list provided earlier is correct, it depends on your definition of score. Last to get credit was Chris Mason, who was the last one to touch the puck before the opposing team misfired on a pass and put it in thier own net. The last one to shoot and score was Nabakov.

the last goalie to score a goal was Chris Mason of the Nashville Predators. the first ever was Billy Smith of the Islanders in the 70's and Hextall and Brodeur have each scored 2 goals.
