My thoughts about Stone Henge are formed
from visiting it twice and actually laying my hands on the stones the first time.
It was a sacred gathering place for clans of ancient people to celebrate festivals and special events and also for worship.

Part temple, part astronomical observatory. The sun and moon line up across it at predictable times.

The original rituals used have been lost to history. The altar stone once in the center appears to have been broken up and moved to a nearby town.

I think Stonehenge was made by people who lived before us, like a long time ago. Maybe the people made it for religious beliefs and such things. Who else can lay giant slabs of stones ontop of each other?
