Im so ashamed of my height!Help me!?

Im 5'8 and im so ashamed of it!
I have really really long legs,and long hair!and im only 14!!!!
plz help me to be shorter!
IS BEING TALL PRETTY?

first of you should try not to be ashamed of the things you have no control over. Second of 5'8 is a great height. in a few years you are gonna be tall andbeatiful with legs to die for so stop worrying.

most importantly!!!! DONT SLOUCH! many people that are not comfortable with their height slouch over to feel a little shorter. It looks aweful and will ruin your posture and back. stand tall and proud of you height.

Being tall is very pretty. I have a friend who's a girl who's 6ft. and she's 15.
I'm 5'2'' and I wish i was taller. I wish i had long legs, but i don't. You shouldn't be ashamed of yer hight. Many fashion people hire tall women to be runway models. Lots of models are tall. Why do you think all the tall girls get the modelling job? Because they have long s*xy legs and short torsos, perfect for showing the fashion people that new spring skirt!
Sorry, but there isn't a way to be shorter until you get older... waaaaay older. The long hair will make you look shorter, just don't get it cut too short, or that'll make u look taller.
Just becuz some of the cute guys at yer school are shorter than you doesn't mean all guys are. my friend who's 16, who's a guy and he is 6'3''!!!!! (whoa!!!!)

I am 5'7" tall and I use to be self consious about my height too. My husband is 6'1" tall so I'm not so worried about it anymore. I'm sure you are beautiful. Most models are very very tall. You should be proud of who you are and what God made you to be.... Self confidence makes you pretty, remember that. Don't be cocky and stuck up but you do need to realize your true beauty. Everyone around you has insecurities about something, whether it be that their hair is shorter than yours and they would love to have long hair like you or that they are so short and worry about not being as tall as you. 5'8" isn't even THAT tall.... you are actually average height, wouldn't you say?!

Sure is!! You can't be a model unless you're 5' 8" and have long legs so that must tell you something. Be proud of your height. You're a bit taller than your friends, but that'll change in a year or so.
Everyone likes tall people, and you're not too tall at all.

Oh honey, don't be ashamed of your height. You may still be taller than some of the boys, but that is their problem, not yours. My niece is your height and has been since she has been 14. She is 16 now. She is not ashamed at all. She looks nice and is very pretty. I think she is lucky to be that height.

I'm 5'9" and 13. Models are only tall with long legs. So is Miss America. Be proud because everyone is envious of you. Tall people rule.

first of all..none of us are responsible for they way we were put together..so get over that issue right now...5-8 is a lovely height...Im short and would kill to be able to never have to hem pants ever again...to be able to reach high things....to hug my man and have my head reach above his chest.....start working on what you CAN change and accepting what you cannot....just love yourself girl...
