I would suggest comparative, simply because they are 'aping' or copying a social function they see other/older authority figures engaging in. Since it is established that children (of all species) learn by copying the behavior of their parents, they mimic their behavior as a way to understand the roles they are expected to fit, thus it is something by which they 'compare' themselves.

Cooperative
but it is really a bunch of societal brainwashing. I'm assuming the woman is mother and help mate? What's really wrong with Mr. Mom?

cooperative is what people like you to believe
but I think its rather hierarchy., so I would say comparative.
Instead of coop. children learn the different tasks in running a home.
learning the difference is being comparative.

I would say comparative. They are imitating what they see at home and on tv.
