About the "lulu" comment (No idea how to send it to the other users or on the question...AHH!), I have published w/ lulu a couple of times, but its just not my cup of tea. I really hate self-publishing. If its a poem book, perhaps, i would self-publish, but for 400 page books...nah...

Lol :)

No that's just a term that's used. William Morris is one. You will always find on an agent's website a list of books that agency has sold. If you see that they have sold books like Da Vinci Code and other best sellers, they are an A List agent. You will also find that most A List agents will show on their site (and in Writers Market) what percentage of new authors they represent. The number is very very low. I disagree totally with the Lulu comment - self publishing is financial suicide. Pax - C.

The future of book publishing is not with agents - not in the information age.

Go here instead:
www.lulu.com

You can publish the book yourself for about $5, and sell it right from the web site.

There's not one specific list, particularly because an A-list agent won't be YOUR A-list agent if they don't represent your genre.

Read these websites, and read them carefully!
