Well In a school called M.S.577, im in 8th grade. This year was different from all other years because the principal wants to give our senior trip to the 7th graders, and then they want to give them the pocono's. Isn't that unfair becuase our spirit week was canceled and our ice skating trip was given to the 7th grade, then 2 months later we went. I have a feeling that the principal's daughter was in that grade and thats why the whole school is treating us (8th grade) like $hit. Anyone have that same situation? Isn't this unfair

HMMM...
it may be because of behavior but the 7th grade was a lot worser than us.

yup it is unfair! My daughter is in 8th grade and her principal is new and when she came on she had "heard" that the 8th graders were really unruly so all year she has punished the whole 8th grade by refusing to give them any of the privileges that the 8th graders used to have. I have been sending e-mails because MY daughter has been falsely accused and treated like she was one of the few bad ones. Even tonight I got a call from a teacher who accused my daughter of something and she wasn't even at school today. I am flipping mad and will continue to get all the parents together that I know and try to fight it through letters and calls. Would your parents do that? Ask them. It's you last year, so its not like they would have to face the principal again!
(sometimes I think it is a big plot to get 8th graders to hate elementary school so much that they are sooooo ready for H.S. sort of like a mother bird pushing the baby to fly! Try and get through--- you are gonna be so happy to get out!!! It's just a few weeks!!!!:)
