As a retired army person the men and women
should be coming from Irag soon , but President
Bush has made that impossible as he sent in the
wrong soldiers to fight the wrong war, This war is
suburban and our troops are jungle fighters. With
no equipment to fight a city war they are limited as
to what they can do and because Bush put them
in this situation they have to figure how to get out
of it so that will take some time. I was in Viet-nam
for 3yrs and the war lasted 12yrs for the U.S. and
when they pulled out it took less than 6 months
for the country to become communist as it is to-
day. So because of the generals and Bush we
will be in Irag for the long haul.

They should return as soon as possible. Whatever be the internal affairs of Iraq, USA had no business poking its nose in them once Kuwait was liberated. President Bush & Tony Blair created false stories about nuclear weapons which were never found, attacked a sovereign country, just because of a personal grudge killed its ruler through a kangaroo court, & now destroying it furthur in the name of fight against terrorism. If Saddam was supporting terrorists, why did USA support Iraq against the 8 year long Iran-Iraq war. Who created Osama bin laden, once upon a time he was truted ally of CIA in afghanistan fighting russians. No one sincerely wants to eleiminate terrorism, if they wanted, world would have been a safer place, & Americans soldiers would not be losing their lives in a war which does not belong to them be it Vietnam or Iraq.
There is a lot of rethinking required as you go for next election. Chose the person who thinks of real life issues like abortion, shifting of jobs to other countries, employment, economy, & safety rather than maintaining USA as a superpower. The common man does not gain anything from America being a superpower. Choose the person who does not waste your hard earned money you have paid as taxes in wars, but works for welfare.
