As long as the mobo will fit (same form factor, ATX or Micro ATX) as case and you safeguard against ESD, it's just a matter of moving the parts to the other case. It may help to draw some diagrams and write some notes so you get everything plugged in the exact spot it was in.

There are several things to look out for. The first is the type of motherboard in your old system. Depending on it's type, it may not fit into a newer case, or the mounting holes and I/O slots may not line up properly. If your handy with basic tools you can do some simple mods for the mounting to make it line up. Just be cautious of where your ground pads are. You may have to remove mounts on the new case that would touch etching on the Motherboard. The other issue would be the power supply. If you buy a case with a power supply in it it most likely will be an ATX type. If youo motherboard is anold AT style then you will have to move the power supply into the new box.

As long as the new case will handle the form factor of your equipment you will be fine. Most will accept anything in the ATX family, which yours probably is because it's older. Only newer systems could be BTX which are laid out differently. Be aware that certain big name computer makers use parts that may be a different size or shape than normal (e.g: power supply) and may not fit in your new case.

The only concern you have is if the old and new case support the same form factor.
If your old computer is only a couple years old you should be okay.
If nothing else, check your Computer's or motherbaord's manual to see which form factor they are\use.
You could also ask the company where you pkan on buying the case for help in selecting the correct case.

Yes, just make sure the case you buy is the right size for the motherboard, and that the power supply is equal to or greater in wattage as the case you are removing it from. Just disassemble carefully and reassemble in reverse order in the new case. Have fun.

if everything fits then yes! you are not changing anything! the only thing you are changing is the case! as long as you keep everything as it is! and everything bolts up fine! don't cross any wires and be shure everything plugs back in correctally! take one peice at a time!

Depends if your old computer system is a shelf unit or compatible with the new tower.

It shouldnt hurt anything so long as your absolutely SURE to hammer everything into the case solidly enough. Rule of three here. Tap once to align, tap again to be sure, whack it in there to make it right.
Dont forget to give your processor an extra whack or two to be on the safe side.
