Yes, the liberals did not fight fellow Americans during World War II. But since then, politicians have been trying to run the wars instead of letting the generals fight them. It is easy people. We train the military to fight, and then the dang politicians won't get his a## out of the way. From Korea to present day.. politicians can't keep their fingers off...

All the leaders and fighting personnel of the revolutionary war were truly extreme liberals (far far left) .... So I guess George Washington was one of the main liberal leaders of the day. Kudos to him and the boys ;)

Do you mean like World War II, a war conducted by a liberal president who had to drag conservatives into a war they opposed because it would interfere with their profitable business dealings with Hitler? This includes the Bush family who invested in banks on both sides - knowing that way that they would make money which ever side won (and, frankly, not caring which side won as long as the war turned a good profit).

Two liberals, Truman and FDR, saved your toothless butt during WWII. JFK, Charlie Rangel, John Kerry, Jim Webb, Pat Tillman, Max Cleeland, Wesley Clarke and even Al Gore all served in the military and faught bravely.
