The pull on my Husbands winter coat has come off. the rest of the zipper is ok. Is there a way to replace that one part? if not where might I find directions to replace it myself?

When I replaced my husbands zipper I just looked at the Jacket and followed it exactly as it had put in by the manufacture. The zippers they have for replacement on heavy jackets come with no instructions.
I also looked on the instructions that came with my sewing machine. This way I knew exactly what thread to use and what size needle.
Hope this helps a bit.

I've used safety pins for this before, that is if the hook thing is still there.
