It's not D. It would be D if she was actually managing her frustration. She's not.

It's B - externalizing behavior is when emotions are directed outward. Verbal or physical outbursts are examples of externalizing problems.

Internalizing problems would be turning emotions inward and would manifest in such ways as anxiety, depression, social withdrawl, etc.

To modulate emotional expression is to put a modifying, controlling influence on the way one expresses his/her emotions.

D would make the most sense , but she could also be internalizing the behaviour she sees modelled by parents, sibs, children at daycare etc.
