I'm a guy too. 13 yrs old. I asked my parents by text messaging them since I have this being shy when talking to others thing. I asked them since I wanted to get one so I could feel the way a belly button piercing hurts.

don't come down on me for this, but i was really surprised when i read a guy asking this. hmm, hope you parents are open minded and just ask. if not, try to have them see where your coming from. if everything else fails wait until you can go on your own LEGALLY. i strongly do NOT recommend having a friend do it, sneaking/forging at a parlor and acting anyway but mature and responsible. any behavior like that, well you can go ahead and forget asking your parents foranything else.

Parents prefer multiple choices.. so give them a choice.. something like this.. hey dad.. I would like to pucch a hole in my body.. because its so cutsie.. I need to decide what kind of a hole and where.. I was thinking a bolt through my nose, or possibly a spear through my ear.. but I also was thinking about just a little pin hole in my bellybutton.. whattaya think?

i'm getting my belly button pierced in January!!!!! I'm so excited...i asked my mom and she's like alright but you have to wait for Jan. because it takes a while to heal.

I think you should just ask. I am a mom of two teenagers (one boy, one girl) , I would let them get their bellybutton pierced if they wanted, after all, I have thought about it myself.

ummmmm, thats sorta wierd..... well i asked my mom ans she's like sure. but since your a guy your parents will be more surrprised. so out of the blue one day ask them. say you think its a really good statement about who you are. or something like that.

don't get your bellybutton peirced if you are a guy. just admire the girl's bellybutton peircings. if you get it peirced someone is going to think you are gay. no offense to you just don't get it peirced
