Well, I'm thinking that no one above knows what Salvia Divinorum is. It is not legal weed. It's an incense conducive to dreaming, religous experiences, etc. It is not illegal, harmful, or addictive. The only problem I can really see with it is the fact that it is in the same family as the herb sage. Sage is known to dry up breast milk....so perhaps it would be best to avoid in late pregnancy/after birth. If you are worried about the lack of oxygen to the baby from smoking, it can be used similar to chewing tobacco in the mouth.

Well im about to be different then the rest. My aunt was told by her doctor that it will help with the pain but he also told her that when she went into labor and was in the hospital and when they ask if she did any drugs to say no because then CPS would have to take the baby and do all this **** and then if every thing worked out then she would get her baby back. So if your gonna do it, then do it and her baby was so smart her daughter was walking at 9 months and was talking to where you could understand her at 10 months.

Umm...you do realize that "legal" weed is the same as "illegal" weed, right? it is just as potent, and usually even more potent (higher levels of THC) than illegal weed. The only difference is that "legal" weed is sold in cannabis pharmacies or clubs.
That being said, smoking pot or ingesting marijuana any other way (Marinol pills, cookies, chocolates, etc) can be toxic to a fetus. Some studies show that it can cause developemental and behavioral problems in infants/children.
Why risk it?

I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure that any type of smoking will damage the fetus and I suggest you don't do it.
Just think of a smoke bomb in a glass jar. Where is the smoke going? That's right, it's trapped in your body and your baby can not get out! It's just not healthy for you or your baby.

Smoking pretty much anything depletes the oxygen level in your blood, which is what is so bad for the baby. They need all the oxygen they can get to properly develop their little organs...you smoke anything, organs may not be able to develop, causing permanent damage.
