I watched an Inconvenient Truth last night and was intrigued at his ability to speak publicly without a teleprompter or flash/cards. He spoke as if he really did study the subject. He has had his hands in environmental affairs in the past. (Although his personal energy saving techniques seem to be in question.). If anyone has ever met him, whats he like?
Please: Insults and political rhetoric will get you flagged. I am asking a question about a person. Nothing political about it, just a question...seriously.

He is a politician. He has learned to fake sincerity. He is making a very good living off of global warming, One that he would not be making if he didn't push it.

I think he's well spoken-He was able to present in such a manner that everyone would be able to understand(or most will) He probably was able to speak that well because he was giving talks in many different places- He would have memorised them just by doing it(like practicing).
