My first child took me 6 months to conceive - But I wasn't really "trying hard" with the first. My second baby I was pregnant in the blink of an eye. It was as if I said lets have another baby-boom I sneeze and I was pregnant LOL!!
Sometimes it takes a while to get pregnant after getting off birth control, so don't be surprised if it takes a few months. Good Luck!

I couldn't get pregnant with the first for 2 1/2 yrs so with the second we stopped using birth control planning to take about 3-4 months. And I was pregnant the first month

Oh, and by birth control I mean condoms, if you take pills you should wait for a few months after going off of them. Talk to your doctor. I think they can damage the baby.

it took just once for me which honestly i feel it should have taken longer because i'm a smoker, i drank tons and tons of caffine and i lived off of cafeteria food at the hospital! but when it comes to ovulation, alot of people get it backwards. you actually ovulate 14 days BEFORE your period. cycles vary from 21-42 days so for example, if you have a 21 days cycle you ovulate on day 7. if you have a 42 day cycle you ovulate on day 28. so if you are ttc i would give this a try. figure out when you next period is supposed to come and count 14 days before that! good luck.

I got pregnant right away after my daughter was born. I was a sex craved maniac after she was born...but I was on birth control for a while. We just weren't really worried about it, and we didn't stress over it. That is the best advice I can give ya, sweetie!! If you don't get pregnant right away, don't stress over it. That'll make it harder for you to get pregnant. My friend does it every month, and every month she turns up not pregnant. So, just get to it...start humping like bunnies.

it can take months or weeks i got pregnant when my daughter was 5 months old and she was a hair over a year when her brother came so it really all depends on when you ovulate timing is the key buy clear blue easy digital ovulation test and you should have intercourse while you are ovulating to increase your change of becoming pregnant and good luck

First child it took us two months. Second child it took one month.

My husband and I have always used the rhythm method as our form of birth control. Therefore, I have always been very intune with my cycle and knew EXACTLY when I was ovulating.

WITH OUR FIRST SON I WAS ON DEPO, CAME OFF OF IT IN JANUARY OF 2002 CAUSE I WAS TOLD IT CAN TAKE UP TO 12-18 MONTHS TO BECOME FERTILE AGAIN. 5 MONTHS LATER, WHILE ON VACATION WE CONCEIVED THE LITTLE BOOGER (NOW 4). OUR SECOND SON (STILL IN THE OVEN) WE WERE JUST USING CONDOMS, AND CONCEIVED HIM ON THE FIRST TRY. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
