Adults are smarter. The only reason the adults can't go all the way is because it's been a long time since we were in the fifth grade & a lot of the stuff they teach in 1st - fith grades obviously has no importance in our adult lives. I'd like to see a fifth grader write a check or balance a check book or dicerne an Electrick Bill.

Yea, I'm smarter than a fifth grader. I was smarter than a fifth grader when I was in 2nd grade. LoL. I was gifted. Seriously though... those questions on that show are not hard to me. I'm an elementary education major in college though. And I do lots of in class observations and lesson plans. So, I'm familiar with K-5 grade material. So yea... I'm smarter than a fifth grader. Are you?

I'm smarter than some fifth graders and not as smart as others. I also know some things the average fifth grader doesn't, and probably the average fifth grader knows some things I don't.

Yes, and I think that show PAYS people to be more stupid than a fifth grader, I mean, NO adult that has past grade school, or middle school for that matter, could be.

I am! I get almost all of the answers right. I think it might be easier from home with no money on the line though. It must be horrible to have to "drop out" of fifth grade!
