IPv6 help please?

In the most simplistic way, how would you disable ipv6? Im having trouble connecting to the internet even though everything is connected fine on vista. I think that IPv6 might be the problem.

IPv6 isn't yet an IP protocol that is widely used, not that it can't be however you would probably be better off with not useing it yet.
