Bush has secret torture camps run by the CIA in other countries and doesn't allow the prisoners at Gitmo (the first to finally be tried after 5 years, and he is a Brit) to see the Red Cross! Has basically thrown away the Geneva Conventions, say this?

"The video also showed a brief scene of what appeared to be the British crew sitting in an Iranian boat in open waters immediately after their capture.
Before the video was broadcast, a spokesman for British Prime Minister Tony Blair said any showing of British personnel on TV would be a breach of the Geneva Conventions" AP.

Kind of a double standard don't you think?

Personal attackers will be reported!

No John it isn't, but that doesn't give us the right to be as bad as they are! You aren't talking about the Iranians. Who have they beheaded? Even the embassy people who were held during Carter were not mistreated!.

No, just because they do it is not good enough and when we violate it, we too will be held accountable. We want it both ways! We don't have to go by the conventions for whatever reason you give, but the Iranians do! You can't have it both ways. In fact it doesn't matter how many times others violate them. That doesn't negate our signature or responsibility under the Conventions! Bush will pay for his violations.

And we found out about the camps from a country one was in and we flew over anothers airspace. Bush denied for a year we had them. Caught in another lie!

The Geneva Conventions have no longer something to do with pre-emprive invasions. they're strictly regulations for the medical care of prisoners of conflict. you're in all likelihood relating a provision contained in the U.N. shape which forbids pre-emptive conflict different than contained in terms of self-protection against an impending attack. Bush became no longer able to tutor to the UN that Iraq became an impending risk so it did no longer approve the invasion. although, Iraq by no ability complied with the circumstances of the give up-fireplace after the 1st Iraq conflict, so technically that conflict by no ability ended.

If the camps are secret how do you know they exist? The folks in Cuba are terrorists.......once we get the information out of them they should be hung.......The Geneva Convention is only upheld by democratic countries (check your history books) and in times of war.....we are not at war with Saudi Arabia, Iran and Syria, where most of these terrorist are from.

Whaaaaaaa, those folks chop the heads off from Americans but when we lock them up for doing this we're the bad guys. I will never cease to be amazed by this type of view.

Please read up on the Geneva Conventions, the Bush administration IS complying with all of the conventions. It's just that you don't like your terrorist buddies to be caught. You'd rather have them out sawing peoples' head off, hiding behind the skirts of women, and blowing little children up. All in the name of some nutcase called Allah, my he drown in pig excrement.

When you can back this with facts I'll listen. You need to actually read the Geneva Convention , not just spread liberal gossip.

Just so you know if we actually followed the Geneva Convention rules we would have executed the terrorists already. If they are non-uniformed combatants they can be put to death. Just so you know.
