Every woman is different...knowing yourself is a major part of the moon phase calander - for me - my cycle is 28 and a bit days so I flow with the moon.
read some pages like..

google
menstrual moon

and read a bit or even alot.
Not everything you need to learn in life can be handed to you on a platter..women's moon magic is something She learns for herself as She is unique. Other womens' ways are not her ways. We can empathise but only you know your cycle and what is best for you.

Basically it depends
- if you want to be more fertile then change your "clock" with the pill (if you have them and then go au natural) to bleed at the new moon
- if you want to reduce your fertility at this time then take an OCP or other readily available medication as directed and/or abstain from intercourse during days 11-18 (3 days either side of ovulation)

Moon predictor calenders are more scientific than esoteric. They show that "if" everything is the way it should be (regular cycles, good health etc) then "more than likely" this is a safe way to predict the cycle of menstruation.

however - if you are wanting to not get pregnant and you are in doubt...don't

Please remember that the pill and moon cycle predictors ONLY offers protection when used correctly and only from pregnancy....there are also STDs to be concerned about *mumbles something about monogomy and getting tested and not just sleeping with anyone and integrity and self respect* blah blah blah....
